Boys Hairstyles

Below are the types of hairstyles worn by teenage boys at my high school.

Prep Hairstyles 1. Sporty Prep Boys Hairstyles. In this hairstyle people typically wear a short- reaps athletic style. This may vary from a buzz cut to a layered fade cut. It does not require the use of a brush or blow dryer. Highlighted instructions are popular with this group. For coloring the hair ends they are using natural shades of blonde, black, or red color.

2. Cowboy Boys Hairstyles. Real and want to-be. Not really a hairstyle type, but they are a distinct group. They wear various lengths of hair under those cowboy hats, but they’re too macho for haircolor. These good old boys keep their Wrangler jeans tucked into their boots and would rather be knee deep in cow dung than be seen in public without their rodeo buckle.

Punk Hairstyles 3. Punk Boys Hairstyles. The punk hairstyle looks long, spike and more colorful than other styles. They can wear a long haired point or a blend of the spike and the buzz cut. The combo cut gives an attractive looks. Impressive colors like blue, green, orange, red, purple, and black are used to maximize impact. The colors may be mixed or contrasted gives a unique look.

4. Flamer Boys Hairstyles. Hair is serious business with this group and may be any length, cut or style. They change hairstyles frequently and love to glam up their look with hair ornaments. Asymmetrical hairstyles are a particular favorite and may be accented with highlights or panels of different colors. These rainbow hairstyles are worn as an unabashed expression of their gay pride. Flamers wear tight fitting trans gender apparel. They have a passion for Anime dress-up games. During the lunch hour they play the card games like Euchre and Pokémon.

Emo Hairstyles 5. Emo Hairstyles. Emo hairstyle has several variations but blunt haircut with heavy bangs looks more fashionable. Parted on the side and narrow across the bridge of the nose covering one side of the face is another popular emo hairstyle for men. Here the hair is cut in a straight line all the way around.

6. Grunge Hairstyles. This hair style also called burnouts or druggies. Here the slippery, messy hair flows in the face. The grungers at our school don’t wear the pseudo-grunge style that some hairstylists describe as a short layered, swing hairstyle with panels of color. These anti-style dirty boys are purists. Their grunge is not the designer look you see in a Calvin Klein commercial or even a grunge band imitation – it’s real. They rarely tip a shampoo bottle or use a bar of soap, so they smell pretty ripe.

Gothic Hairstyles 7. Goth Hairstyles. Any length or cut is cool as long as the hair and clothing are black. Goth hairstyle looks very trendy. This hairstyle suits in any type of hair that may be long or straight or you can wear in medium to short hair with choppy layers and side fringe and also you have single or multicolor lines as red, purple, pink, or ink blue in your hair.

8. Green Hairstyles. Environmentalists. This isn’t a distinct hair group either, but you can be certain that the hair products they use are earth friendly.

9. Neutral Hairstyles. My group, the predominant group. This is a contrived label; no one actually calls us neutrals. Some of us may owe a bit of our style to the other groups, yet they don’t define us. I guess you could call us hairstyle melting pot or the status quo.
